International programmes

Trnava university has signed over 100 bilateral agreements within the Erasmus programme with European universities. Furthermore, the university cooperates with other institutions around Europe and the United States. Faculties of Trnava university participate in EU projects implemented within European programmes such as Leonardo and CEEPUS. Trnava university is a member of the European Academy for Science and Arts, the European University Association, the Magna Charta Universitatum, the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators and the Danube Rector‘s Conference.

Action Austria - Slovakia, Co-operation in Science and Education
Its purpose is to promote and further develop cooperation between university and scientific institutions in Slovakia and Austria through grant support to joint projects and individual scholarships. The programme is funded by annual contributions from Slovakia and Austria.

National Scholarship Programme
The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic is intended to support mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers to stay at Slovak universities and Slovak research organizations.The scholarships of the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic are also intended for students and PhD students of the slovak universities to cover living costs of their study at a second level of higher education, or of their study or research stay during their PhD study, at a foreign university or at a foreign research organization.

CEEPUS — Central European Exchange Program for University Studies
University cooperation is focused on the preparation of joint programmes and joint diplomas, mobility of university students, PhD students and university teachers, student excursions, professional language courses and summer schools. If a higher education institution does not participate in the programme network, its students and PhD students may still apply for scholarship under the category “freemover“.
