The Institute of History of Trnava University represents a research department founded on October 12, 2001. The department executes a systematic research of Trnava University history sources in archives, libraries and museums at home as well as abroad. Research outcomes are available for the whole university academia, if interested. The Archive of Trnava University, which stores and keeps records of documents since reestablishment of Trnava University in Trnava in 1992, forms a part of the Institute of History of Trnava University.
